Past

I started showing aussies when I was two years old in ASCA pee wee. When I started, I showed a red merle female named Rudi. She was a great dog who let me dress her up in costums and enjoyed the show ring. Unfortunatly, due to her age, I had to find a new juniors dog.  I was eventually given Jadecreek Timberwood's Jack (Jack) for my seventh birthday. Jack is the best dog I could've ever asked for, I wouldn't trade him for the world! Jack was the dog I showed to move up into both the AKC open junior class, and the ASCA open junior class. In the beging, Jack didn't care too much for the ring, he only did it because he did it for me, now I can't keep him away from the shows, he loves it! Jack was also the dog I started 4-H with. Together, Jack and I have competed in juniors and conformation in AKC and ASCA, in either 4-H or just for fun we;ve done agility, rally, herding, obediance, and we've even slept over night at the local fairgrounds for a 4-H event.


Present

I continue to show my aussies in juniors and in conformation. I just started showing Timberwood's Secret Promise (Promise) in April. She is a blue merle female and is the daughter of Jack. Promise won her class, got Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, and Best Oposite her first time in a class other than a puppy class. Though I'm going to start showing Promise, I will still be showing Jack in juniors the majority of the time.


Furture

I plan to continue showing dogs for the rest of my life.  Australian shepherds are my heart breed, and though I might get a second breed, I'll never give them up. I have no desire to start a new kennel. Instead, Laura and I will continue Timberwood. No matter how old we get, Laura, my mother, and I will always go to shows together if possible. I do love showing dogs, and I'll probably continue showing dogs for people when I'm older, but I do not plan to become a professional handler. For as long as I can remember, my dream was to become a lawyer, what type, I'm still unsure.
